The team at Sheringham Medical Practice are delighted to announce that Dr Sean Ward and Dr Kate Forrest have both made the decision to join Sheringham as Partners from 1 September 2022. Both have been working as locums at the practice, Dr Ward since November 2021 and Dr Forrest since March. They have thoroughly enjoyed working with our team and are very grateful for the welcome from the team and the local community. Our new partners will be joining Dr Izzadeen, who became a partner in April, to form the core of a new partnership, working with the current partners to support the practice team and our local community into the future.
We also look forward to welcoming Dr Adam Walton, a new Salaried GP to the team. He will be starting with us on a Full-Time basis from 12 September.
Dr Scott will be retiring as a Partner at the end of July after nearly 25 years of caring for patients, families and staff at Sheringham. The partners and staff would like to extend a huge thank you to Dr Scott for his tremendous contribution to the surgery and patient care over the years. He has been influential in mentoring the future generation doctors by passing on his knowledge and experience to trainee GPs. Dr Scott will continue to have a presence at the practice to support the ongoing training of GP Registrars and seeing patients.
These changes represent a period of transition at the Practice. However, we feel the future for Sheringham Medical Practice will be extremely positive for the practice and our patients.
